OUT OF HOURS GP SERVICES
On weekdays, between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am and all day and night at weekends and on bank holidays, Out of Hours GP services are provided by Wiltshire Medical Services. Please note this is for urgent medical problems that cannot wait until normal surgery opening times.

They will assess your call and may give you advice over the telephone; may ask you to speak to the doctor on call; may ask you to go to the Primary Care Emergency Centre at Trowbridge Hospital; or may ask the doctor to make a house call.
You will hear clear instructions about what to do next but please make sure you have a pen and paper ready to note relevant details.
OTHER SOURCES OF MEDICAL HELP OR ADVICE
This is a 24-hour medical advice service accessible via a telephone helpline, digital TV or the internet. It is led by nurses who can help reassure you and give you telephone advice and health information. Anyone can use NHS Direct, at any time, for health advice. NHS Walk In Centre: provides a nurse-led service and acts as a 'sign post' to other health, social and voluntary services. Offers fast and convenient access to a range of NHS services, including health information, advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses (coughs, colds, infections) and minor injuries (strains, sprains, cuts).
