Associate GP 

We are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly team. We encourage applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs. We are a flexible, supportive GP training practice with a strong team ethos.

Emergency Nurse Practitioner /Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Care Practitioner or Specialist Paramedic

We are looking to appoint an Emergency Nurse Practitioner /Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Care Practitioner or Specialist Paramedic to join our hardworking team at Bradford on Avon & Melksham Partnership.

You must be self-motivated, willing to learn and have excellent communication and team working skills.

The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified professional individual with high clinical standards. They will need to demonstrate safe, critical thinking in clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the General Practice.

We are a very supportive, friendly and well-organised Practice of approximately 21,000 patients that are distributed over four sites within Bradford on Avon, Winsley and Melksham. The Practice has a strong support structure of management, full complement of Medical Administrator staff, and attached staff including a transforming care for older people team and Clinical Pharmacist.

Hours are negotiable for the right candidate.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Clinical Research Nurse

Clinical Research Nurse (2-3 days a week required)

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in Clinical Research within Primary Care.

Bradford on Avon and Melksham Health Partnership is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic self- motivated qualified Nurse to join our experienced, established and busy Clinical Research Team.

Although previous Research experience is preferred it is not essential as training will be given. Experience with chronic diseases would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible, paying fine attention to detail and with high standards of provision of care.  You need to have excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills with the ability to work autonomously and also to work within a Multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will manage the administration and day to day running of studies ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines making sure that data collection is to the highest standard and research trials are well managed.

As a key member of the team, you will liaise closely with patients, volunteers and relatives making sure that their involvement in research is seamless from identification to enrolment and through to completion of the study.

Nurse Care Coordinator

We are a large friendly, four site GMS Practice based in the beautiful market town of Bradford on Avon.  We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 5 Nurse to work as a Clinical Care Co-ordinator to join our award winning Older Person’s Team, known as the TCOP team, based at St Margaret’s Surgery in Bradford on Avon.  The TCOP team also run our social prescribing projects such as our two Leg Clubs, Social Café and Dementia Club.

Our whole team approach creates positive outcomes for patients under our care and supports delivery of safe care. We require a motivated person with good initiative and excellent organisational skills. You will have a positive and caring attitude towards patients; recovery and community care and have a responsible and flexible approach. You will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, with the ability to formulate person centred care plans, using your professional skills and evidence based interventions. Teamwork, flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude are central to our approach and a commitment to working with older people is essential.

In return you will receive regular clinical, management and caseload supervision and will benefit from the support of an experienced and committed multidisciplinary team. You will receive support in the further development of your clinical skills and professional development through a supportive appraisal process.
