Wiltshire Primary Care to re-badge as NHS Wiltshire
Wiltshire PCT is changing its name.
From 1st November 2008 the organisation will be referred to as NHS Wiltshire.
NHS Wiltshire is a simpler name, easier to understand and indicating that they are responsible for more than primary care. The other PCTs in the South West and across the country are making similar changes in line with Department of Health guidance.
The full legal name of the organisation remains Wiltshire Primary Care Trust and this will continue to be used where appropriate. Wiltshire Community Health Services is unaffected by the change.
