Flu Vaccinations

Now that the summer is gone the flu season will soon be upon us. The Department of Health have identified which patients are at higher risk of influenza. It is only these patients who are entitled to a free ‘flu’ vaccination on the NHS. If you are in a high risk group you will be offered a free flu jab.

If you answer YES to any of the following questions then your doctor may recommend that you have a flu vaccination:

  • aged over 65
  • have heart problems
  • have diabetes
  • have had a stroke
  • suffer with immune deficiency
  • have renal disease
  • have COPD
  • have liver disease

Please ask at reception or call 01225 866611 or 865200 to make an appointment for one of our flu sessions.
