Following a successful AGM the PPG have a number of projects under consideration plus we hope to co-operate with the medical staff in providing a number of awareness evenings on topics identified by our members and which will be of general interest to the community.

These topics include:

• Arthritis
• Osteoporosis
• Heart disease
• Care of the elderly
• Senile dementia
• Asthma
• Breast cancer

Come and be part of our blossoming new group. Help yourself, your family and the community to enhance our local health centre provision!

Members meet at least four times per year on a Monday evening, 7pm at the Health Centre. We have the following dates booked for the coming year:

• 4th December 2006
• 12th March 2007
• 11th June 2007
• 17th September 2007

The PPG will be assisting at the flu vaccination sessions this autumn to be held at the Health Centre
